Data on street harassment in Indonesia is very scarce. KRPA is the first to provide a myth-debunking holistic data on the topic.

3 out of 5 women experience harassment, 1 out of 10 men experience harassment, and 7 out of 10 people identified with other genders experience harassment.

It is rapant among minors

52% respondents confessed they first experience harassment before they turn 16 years old.

Most cases happen at noon and in open spaces

When it happens? at noon (35%), evening (25%), nighttime (21%), and morning (17%).

Revealing clothings are not the cause

When it happens, respondents wear long skirts or pants (18%), hijab (17%), long sleeves (16%), school uniform (14%), and loose clothes (14%)
