The Coalition for Safe Public Space (KRPA) is an initiative from civic society to end street harassment and to manifest public spaces that are safe for women and other marginal groups.

Survey
Data on street harassment in Indonesia is very scarce. KRPA is the first to provide a myth-debunking holistic data on the topic.
Trainings
We provide trainings and workshops to educate public about street harassment and empower people to end it.
Advocacy
KRPA engages various institutions, organizations and community to work together to provide safe space mechanisms in Indonesia.

3 out of 5 women experience harassment, 1 out of 10 men experience harassment, and 7 out of 10 people identified with other genders experience harassment.

It is rapant among minors
52% respondents confessed they first experience harassment before they turn 16 years old.

Most cases happen at noon and in open spaces
When it happens? at noon (35%), evening (25%), nighttime (21%), and morning (17%).

Revealing clothings are not the cause
When it happens, respondents wear long skirts or pants (18%), hijab (17%), long sleeves (16%), school uniform (14%), and loose clothes (14%)
